3 signs my life is not my own...

1. I have a favorite SpongeBob episode.
(It's Band Geeks... I just crack up every time I watch it as does Anna. We especially love the part when Sandy and Patrick have a fight in the parking lot and Patrick comes back with the trombone stuck on his neck going toot-toot with every step.)

2. My daily wardrobe consists of sport team t-shirts and polos purchased from the grocery store and drugstore. I just noticed yesterday that I also have 1-inch gray roots.
(Pathetic, yes?)

3. I can't remember the last time I actually slept (and yes, I mean sleep, lol) with my husband.
(Because Anna's seizures are so unpredictable, usually hit in the middle of the night, and cause her to roll so that her face is in her pillow, I sleep with her. Sometimes my mom will keep her and Dominic for a sleepover and I get to sleep with Curtis.)

  1. Dont feel bad. I know MY life is NOT my own when I go to the store and I go thru the BABY clothes aisles and am,"Bug would look SO cute in this!" OR As I flip thru channels and see Sponge Bob or Fairly Odd Parents and I STOP to watch, while in my room ALONE...yea. As mother's we no longer live thru ourselves,we live thru our children. As for the grey roots...My hair color is a mystery in itself! ha ha I'm the mom whose kids are PERFECTLY dressed and Im wearing the ripped jeans and a t-shirt. Ppl always look like,"cant she dress herself?" As if those three perfectly dressed kids, dressed themselves! ha ha

  2. LOL!!! I love Sponge Bob too and am always happy to watch it with Ethan and Drew. I am also with you on the wardrobe stuff. As a kid, it used to drive me nuts that all my mom wore were jeans and t-shirts and I wondered why she couldn't make more of an effort like some of my friends moms. Now, what do I wear, jeans and t-shirts!
